New Entry This is where you create content for your blog. You can post whatever you want here (within the boundaries of the law, common sense and any bandwidth restrictions). Create links, add images and let the world know what you think! The first thing you should provide for an entry is the Title. This is what will show up at the top of the entry. The next section, titled Text is where you enter the body of your entry. You can use html or Plain Text in the entry, or let IlohaBlog Auto-format the entry. You should choose which of these three options you prefer in the drop-down menu titled Format located below the Text box. You can also use the Add Link and Add Image links to insert hyper-text links and images into your entry (see below for further description of these two options). Notice also, next to the Add Image link, the Extended text button. If you click on this another text box will appear. You can enter extended text here (including links and images) that will be accesable through a link (Show Rest of Post)in the blog entry. Once you are done entering the Title and Text of your entry you can choose a section to put the entry into using the drop down menu titled Section. There is also an option to have the entry only show up in the chosen section to the right of the Section menu. When you click on Add Link a window should pop up with two text fields and a button. The first text field is labeled Text. You should enter the text for the link here. This is the text that will show up in the entry. The next field is labeled URL. This is where you enter the address that the link should go to. IlohaBlog will not check this link for you so make sure it is valid. Once these two fields are entered click on the add link button. When you click on the Add Image link a window should pop up with three text fields and three buttons. The first text field is labeled Image URL. Fill out this field if the image you want to use is the web somewhere and you want to use it from its existing location. If you want to upload an image from your computer you should click on the Browse button. This should pop up a window that will let you browse your computer for your image. Once you have found your image the path should show up in the text field labeled Upload your own image. Now click on the Upload button. The new address (url) of the image should then show up in the Image URL text field. The other text field, labeled Link image to this URL is used for making the image a link to something on the web. This is optional. You should now be able to click on the add image button to insert the image into your post. The html code for the image should show up in the Text box of your entry.
