Using Kung-log with IlohaBlog

  1. Download Kung-Log from http://www.kung-foo.tv/kunglog.php
  2. Launch Kung-Log
  3. Go to "Preferences" from the "Kung-Log" menu
  4. Configure as follows
    Personality: your IlohaBlog user name
    Username: your IlohaBlog user name
    Password: your IlohaBlog password
    System: MovableType
    XML-RPC: http://blog.iloha.net/rpc.php
    Proxy: Set as necessary (not needed in most cases)
  5. Click "Add", then close Preferences window.
  6. You are now ready to use Kung-Log to post entries to your IlohaBlog weblog.

Misc Notes:

  • Kung-Log lets you specify multiple categories (or "sections" in IlohaBlog) for posts, however, IlohaBlog will only use one.
  • When uploading images, make sure to leave the "Upload into the directory..." field (under "Upload" tab) blank.
  • "Allow trackback pings" option will be ignored.
  • "Keywords" will be ignored in IlohaBlog
